It started with
a search that failed.
Bradley had been collecting Australian decimal coins for years. The collection had grown — carefully, deliberately, coin by coin — into something worth preserving properly. So he went looking for a case worthy of it.
He couldn't find one. Not one that felt right. Everything available was either cheap and functional, or generic and soulless. Nothing treated the collection with the same seriousness the collector did.
So he built one. And then another. And then people started asking where they could get one too.
Thomas Anne was never meant to be a business. It was meant to be the case that should have already existed.

Cristy-Anne's middle name. The name she carries, now carried forward into everything we make together.
When we named this business, we didn't want a brand name. We wanted something that meant something — something that was ours before the first case was ever built. Thomas Anne is not a company name. It is our name. And everything we make carries it.
A collection is not storage.
It is a record of a life lived with intention.
Every person who buys a Thomas Anne case has spent years building something worth honouring. We never forget that. We are here to serve the collection — not to replace it.
We will never produce a case we would not accept for our own collection. That standard is not a marketing position. It is the only standard we know how to work to.
The cases we build today will outlast us. They will be opened by people we will never meet, holding coins gathered before they were born. We build accordingly.
